Dr. Beeram attended medical school at Osmania Medical College University of Health Sciences in India. He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at St. Francis Hospital of Evanston in Evanston, Illinois, and a three-year fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he served as Clinical Fellow in Hematology/Medical Oncology. During his fellowship, Dr. Beeram was awarded a merit award for his poster presentation at the 2005 American Society of Clinical Oncology meeting in Orlando, Florida.

Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Beeram worked as a hospitalist and also in the bone marrow transplant unit at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. In addition he was an instructor in Internal Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and American College of Physicians.

Dr. Beeram is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology through the American Board of Internal Medicine.

In oncology, Dr. Beeram is especially interested in new treatment modalities for lung cancer and clinical trial research. In his spare time, Dr. Beeram enjoys reading, traveling and photography.
